Squash, Yellow Scallop
This summer squash variety has a wonderful flavor that is mild and sweet. It has been grown in the United States since at least the 1500's by Native Americans and shared with European settlers who began cultivating the variety. Fruits are 5-7 inches around and have a flattened, round shape with scalloped edges. The fruits ripen to a creamy yellow color. Great for frying, baking, and grilling. 50 days.
